The members of Akwa State's Fellowship of Gospel Music Ministers (FOGMMON) recently received a recognition by the national body at the just conclude national congress held in Abuja.
The Congress was attended by dignitaries and church leaders as well as gospel music ministers and other stakeholders.
The Akwa Ibom state chapter of FOGMMON was singled out from the nominated 26 chapters and given a befitting recognition.
Speaking about this, the FOGMMON AKS Chapter president, BobbyFriga, thanked the national body and dignitaries/delegates present at the event. He also thanked the Akwa Ibom state governor, Deac. Udom Emmanuel and his wife, Martha Udom Emmanuel, who is also a member and strong supporter of FOGMMONin the state.
He also thanked the national body of FOGMMON for putting up a 'world class' congress and creating a lasting platform of unity and development for gospel music ministers in the country under the leadership of Apostle Asu Ekiye and Dr. Panam Percy Paul.
In attendance were Hon. Osai (Representing Rt. Hon, Dogara), Bishop David Abioye, bishop in charge of Winners Chapel Abuja, Pastor Dr. & Pastor Mrs Enenche of the Dunamis church, Rev Dr Uche Dan Okafor rep His Eminence Prof Emele Mba Uka former Prelate of Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Archbishop John Praise, Pastor Peter Balogun, GO citizens Church, Aptl. Dr. Zilly Aggrey who is a registered member of FOGMMON river state chapter and others.
Among the AKS delegates include Maggi Bam, princess Uduak Akpan, Eno Williams, Godfada Uko, De gospel, and others, also he congratulate Aity Dennis who has been made the chairman of FOGMMON Lagos state chapter, and all the top pastors in the country for always extending hand of fellowship with the singers.
